Delete your account
You can close your Water Tanker Booking account yourself, at any time, without asking anybody.
In the app
- Open the app and sign in.
- Go to Account.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Enter your password to confirm.
It happens immediately. You are signed out and cannot sign in again with that account.
By email
If you can no longer sign in, write to muzaffar.tirmizi@gmail.com from the email address on the account, or with the mobile number you signed up with. Deletion is done within seven days.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address and mobile number
- Your password
- Your saved addresses, including any map pin
- Notification settings for your phone
- The record of calls you placed through the app
- Any comment you left on a rating
- Your name and address as copied onto past orders
What is kept, and why
The delivery records themselves remain, with nothing on them identifying you — they read as a deleted account. A delivery is a transaction between you and a tanker business, and that business needs its own record of what it delivered and what it owes in platform fees. Star ratings stay for the same reason, without your comment or your name.
If something is unfinished
Deletion is refused, with the reason shown, while a delivery is still in progress — somebody is waiting at the other end of it. Finish or cancel it first. For a tanker business, deletion is also refused while platform fees are outstanding.
